History

1964:

Rogers Brothers acquired Puccinelli Packing Co., a producer with a 30-year history of dehydrating onion, garlic, and vegetables in Turlock, CA and Livingston, CA.

1970s:

Rogers Brothers was acquired by Universal Foods. Universal Foods then acquired Chili Products, a California-based dehydrator of capsicums. This brought Chili Products and Rogers Foods together to provide customers with a single-source supplier.

2000:

Universal Foods, the parent company of Rogers Foods, re-branded as Sensient Technologies Corporation to reflect the corporate vision for dynamic innovation.

2002:

Rogers Foods became Sensient Dehydrated Flavors.

2004:

Sensient Dehydrated Flavors began to expand operations into China and established a processing facility in Qingdao, Shandong.

2009:

Culinary Center opened in the Turlock campus.

2013:

Sensient Dehydrated Flavors became Sensient Natural Ingredients.

2015:

Sensient Natural Ingredients was certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization.

2016:

Sensient Natural Ingredients received USDA’s National Organic Program certification; the company’s California-grown garlic, onion, and parsley product lines received Non-GMO Project verification.
